Pre School have been exploring the Colour Monster book and talking all about emotions. One of their activities has been creating clay faces in the duck garden. They have been rolling the clay into balls and then pushing it on to the tree trunks, then collecting natural materials to create facial features and talk about the expressions and possible emotions! It’s been a wonderful activity and it was also great to repeat with our Dad’s and Grandad’s during our Father’s Day event.
