We offer quality learning experiences for children.
This funding is given to childcare providers to be used in a number of ways, for example, to provide new resources, staff training, additional support and new play or learning experiences to help improve outcomes for your child.
We have used EYPP in a variety of ways over the years. Children have benefitted from reduced or free Ballet and/or Outdoor Learning sessions. We also put the money towards training courses and new resources that are selected to target areas of learning that children who receive EYPP are below age expected in. This means that our EYPP money helps our children narrow the gaps in their learning. We work with parents to decide how their child will benefit from this additional funding. Our current cohort of children are going to be enjoying going on exciting trips on a bus or a train to go and visit areas in our wider community.
Your child must be in receipt of Funded Early Education in order to apply for EYPP, and, your family must meet the eligibility criteria. When you complete your funding form with us we will indicate the section that is to be completed to see if you are entitled to EYPP.
