Thank you to The Edge of The World Bookshop for giving us a warm welcome as always. The children delved straight in to exploring the books on offer, we looked at the front covers, read the titles and looked at the author’s names before opening the books to discover the exciting illustrations inside. There is a lovely cosy area in the bookshop where we sat together to explore some of the stories before choosing two Christmas themed books to buy and bring back to nursery to share with everyone.
The children were very observant on the walk to and from the shop, they were talking about all of the different Christmas displays in the shop windows. There was lots of very excited Christmas conversation!
The children showed great respect and care with the books in the shop and their ever developing love of books was really clear to see. Well done Pre School!
