Visiting The Edge of The World Bookshop

We had our first trip to The Edge of the World Bookshop this week! We are planning more of these visits for the children to explore all of the wonderful books on offer in the shop. Each group will then choose books to bring back to nursery and share.  The children had snack at nursery first, then walked all the way through town to the Bookshop. They made themselves comfortable and explored the books on offer before choosing two books to bring back to nursery!  The children looked very proud when they worked togeher to pay for their books at the till! Thank you to The Edge of The World Bookshop for being so welcoming to us. The children chose books about birds to match their current Big Bird Watch topic, we can’t wait to learn lots of exciting facts from one book and to enjoy the story in the other book. Great choices Pre Schoolers! They were very proud to bring these back to the nursery to share with all of their friends. Well done everyone!
