We offer quality learning experiences for children.
Thanks to Charleigh for giving our mud kitchen a revamp over the Christmas Break. The children have been ever so creative and busy using their imaginations to cook all sorts of delicious things! Creating ingredient lists, counting and sharing beautifully together.
Wehave been exploring making volcanoes by mixing vinegar and bicarbonate of soda. We introduced some challenging words like “expanding”, “fizzing”, “bubbling” and “Rising”. The toddlers loved watching the experiment and seeing all the different colours blend together. We linked the colours to emotions and talked about what emotion we were feeling today, some children even added the bicarbonate soda to the yellow food colouring because they were feeling happy. It was lovely seeing all the children’s different ideas, some children talked about emotions while others decided to make delicious volcanic cakes, well done everyone 🙂
