We talk about emotions A LOT!
It’s important to learn what these words mean and to match them to moments that we feel this way. Around valentines day the word ‘love’ is used a lot and we talk about what this means. Children start to use the word in sentences such as:
“I love my Daddy”
“I love my brothers”
“I love Mummy and Daddy”
“I love my dog”
“I love sausage and mash!”
“I love swimming”
We explore lots of activities around love, and make cards for children to take home and give to someone special who they love, this could be Mummy, Daddy, Grandma, Grandad, a sibling or even sometimes a pet!
