World Book Day

We will be celebrating World Book Day on Thursday 2nd March with a Story Walk and Picnic all about our favourite book. Please see the poster below for more info!
 
This will be for all children who usually attend a Thursday session. Children can dress up if they’d like to, but there is no pressure or need to dress up as a book character 🙂
Please send your child in with wet weather gear, as usual 🙂 plus a favourite teddy bear (or another soft toy) with their NAME written on the label.
This is an event just for our children to enjoy at nursery. We will share photographs on tapestry afterwards for families to see and it would lovely to see any photographs on Tapestry if you go on your own Bear Hunt together as a family!
We love reading at nursery! Do you love reading at home? There are some brilliant tips on Tiny Happy People for enjoying bedtime stories together. Reading with your child, at any age, is such a special time and hugely beneficial for their development.

The CBeebies Bedtime Stories are lovely to watch together and get ideas for new books to explore together. Listening to a family member read you a story is the most wonderful thing for children 🙂
